Seanachaidh (traditional Clan storyteller) Scot AnSgeulaiche will be regaling visitors to Duart Castle, the seat of Clan Maclean, with tales of the Clan, bloody, poignant and strange; to give guests a keener sense of the human history that surrounds them in the stones of the great keep.
Tales lasting around 15 mins will be told twice an hour starting at 11.15am and completing by 4.30pm. Tales will be interspersed by demonstrations of the Highland great plaid. Suitable for adults and older Children. The call of the Highland Muster Role 1715, with drum will announce to visitors within the castle when each tale or when a demonstration is about to begin.
