Mendelssohn on Mull
September 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Each year Duart Castle hosts an evening concert in the Banqueting Hall for the world-renowned Mendelssohn on Mull Music Festival.
This year’s concert is at 7.00 on Tuesday, September 3rd and features the Doric String Quartet. This is a ticket only event available – £25.
The Mull Music Festival was founded in 1988 by the revered violinist Leonard Friedman, responsible for so much of lasting value in Scotland’s musical life.
The Festival provides young professionals in the field of string chamber music with a week of preparation and performance in which to develop their skills while working with established artists in the surroundings of natural beauty that drew Mendelssohn to Scotland.
The festival runs from Sunday 1st September until Saturday 7th September – so if you can’t make the amazing Duart Castle concert, make sure to see them another night while you are here on Mull!
